Welcome to our new blog and website where you can learn about Michelle Rose Community Supported Fishing, how to get involved, and stay connected with other interested folk.
Guy promises to keep us posted (maybe even pictures) while he`s fishing. The crew headed north for prawns two weeks ago and I think we’ll have his first report any day now.
This year is a trial run to check out the local interest for a community supported fishery and to see what it entails. So far there’s been lots of interest – the idea seems to strike a chord in many of us. We were kind of hoping for 30 members and are kind of astonished we’re at over 40 with more coming in.
While Guy has a lifetime of experience fishing, doing a blog or website is a brand new adventure for both of us - I’ve never even posted to a blog before. Thanks to Guy’s son Sebastian, a member of Guy's crew, who figured out the basics the night before they left. While the seafood Guy provides is of the highest quality, our website is not.
Also, while Guy is off fishing, I’m really pleased I get to help out this venture by dealing with the administration and correspondence. E-mail generally works well. However, if you need a quick response or want to chat, feel free to call me (number below). I’m around most of the time, except May 19-25 on the West Coast Trail with Guy’s daughter Rosie and the rest of the Kelsey School group.
Thanks,
Larry Lenske
